Sunny Leone's Film Too Vulgar For Indian Audience

The Sunny Leone-starrer Mastizaade was scheduled to release on May 1 this year. However, it has not seen the light of the day as yet.

Reason? Well, the Examining Committee has not cleared the adult comedy. We hear, the film had such explicit content that the Committee was left shocked. When they saw the Milap Zaveri-directed movie, they found it as vulgar as the Grand Masti.

Producer Pritish Nandy then took his project to the Revising Committee. However, they too have rejected the film, saying that the film is in bad taste.

Nandy, who was present at both the screenings, has no option now but to go to the Tribunal. The producer is now even using his political connections to get the film passed. However, it doesn’t seem to help.

A source from the Censor Board told SpotboyE.com, “Mastizaade is as vulgar as Grand Masti, if not more. Nandy has used all his political clout. But we have still not cleared the movie.

The source added, Pritish Nandy even argued with the Board that they had cleared a film like Grand Masti, then why not Mastizaade?

Guess Nandy has forgotten that Grand Masti was cleared two years ago, at a time when Pahlaj Nihalani was not heading the Censor Board. Its a known fact that Pahlaj has been extremely stringent with the reviewing of films sometimes even unreasonably so.

When we contacted Rangita Nandy, she said, This is not true. We are still in the waiting.

When told that since the Examining and Revising Committees had not given a green signal to the film, her only option was to go to the Tribunal, she didnt revert to the text.
